If you have been waiting to see the Joestar family come to life on-screen, then your hopes will soon be answered. Come August, Warner Bros. Japan will be bringing JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure into the live-action realm when the anime gets its first feature film. The folks behind the film teased fans with a short clip of the movie, but JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure just had its full trailer released. And, in a shocking turn of events, fans of the whacky supernatural anime are saying they’re pretty pleased with its turnout.
You can check out the trailer below.
The video was shared over on Twitter by the film’s official account, and fans were quick to share the clip with others. “Lifting the trailer ban! I’ll protect this town, whatever happens. The latest trailer has been released! Just 99 more days,” the video’s caption read.
There are plenty of tidbits to notice in the trailer for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. The film is based on the series’ fourth arc ‘Diamond Is Unbreakable,” and it gives fans a look at some of the story’s biggest players. Josuke is seen up-close and personal throughout the clip. And, if you look closely, you will be able to spot the Aqua Necklace, some Stands, and even Za Hando.
If you are not familiar with JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, then it is time you got yourself acquainted with the series. The manga and anime are some of the most popular in Japan, and it has fans spanning across the globe. The series debuted in 1987 under Hirohiko Araki at Weekly Shonen Jump. It is the publication’s second-largest manga to date, and David Production turned it into an on-going anime back in October 2012.
